Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Striker shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Striker showed some decent athleticism there.
Choa gets back to full guard.
Striker has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Choa is proving hard to escape from.
Striker wants to pass the guard but Choa is keeping the position.
Striker looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Striker wants to get up but he can't break Choa's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Striker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Choa shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Striker napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Striker is not content to let Choa control the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Choa shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Striker bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Choa's guard.
Striker 's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Striker stops Choa from standing up.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Striker gets to his feet. Choa looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Choa tries for a takedown but Striker circles away easily

and Striker counters with a shoot takedown. Choa fights it but they end up in guard.

Striker is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Striker 's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Striker gets to his feet. Choa looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Steve Striker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Striker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
