The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Worthington wants to control but Stinson is keeping him busy.
Stinson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Worthington scores with a couple of nice shots.

Worthington is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Stinson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Stinson has escaped and now he's on top!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Worthington has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Worthington has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Worthington passes Stinson's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Worthington is trying to control. Stinson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Worthington seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Stinson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
