Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kabessa tries a head kick but it misses.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kabessa has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Pilgrim presses Kabessa against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Pilgrim misses with a punch to the body.
Kabessa blocks a body shot from Pilgrim.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Scott Pilgrim dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Pilgrim shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Kabessa really wants to buck Pilgrim off and get back to his feet.
Kabessa has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
Pilgrim controls the action.

Pilgrim is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Kabessa with him. Kabessa is trying to defend but Pilgrim has an arm under the chin now! Kabessa grimaces and is forced to tap out!
