The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Joseph Jones and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nagurski cracks Schkayle with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

It looks like Richtor Schkayle has been cut.
Nagurski connects with a good right hand that stumbles Schkayle. Schkayle circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Nagurski shoots in but no luck this time.
Nagurski throws a right hand that Schkayle ducks under and follows up with a left that Schkayle also avoids with ease.

A left lands for Nagurski.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Schkayle throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Nagurski has closed the distance and engaged Schkayle in a clinch.
Schkayle stops a takedown attempt from Nagurski.
Nagurski has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Schkayle is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bronco Nagurski. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A bit of stalling here from Nagurski.
Nagurski is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Schkayle pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Nagurski lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Schkayle throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Schkayle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nagurski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Nagurski has control of Schkayle's left arm, preventing Schkayle from doing any damage.
Nagurski might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
A telegraphed right hand from Schkayle misses the target.
Schkayle punishes Nagurski's body with a nice straight punch.
Nagurski is breathing heavily.
Nagurski avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Schkayle throws a hook to the side of Nagurski's head but Nagurski sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Richtor Schkayle is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nagurski takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A slow jab from Schkayle misses its intended target.

Schkayle lands a big uppercut and Nagurski crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Nagurski looks OK. Schkayle waves Nagurski back to his feet!

It looks like Bronco Nagurski has been cut.
Schkayle feints a jab and as Nagurski dips his head, Schkayle unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Nagurski right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Nagurski falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Schkayle smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
