Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cake Motown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silverback Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lesnar is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: go coors!. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Motown looks for a takedown but Lesnar sprawls well.

Motown is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lesnar doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Motown.

Motown is looking to take a break and control but Lesnar is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Motown prevents Lesnar from improving his position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Motown is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Lesnar!
Lesnar wants to control but Motown is having none of it.

Motown swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Lesnar is now in Motown's guard. A big mistake from Motown there, giving up the dominant position!

Motown is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lesnar is aware though and is defending well.

Motown isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Lesnar stacks Motown on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Lesnar!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Lesnar is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Motown gets his way!

You can see the frustration on Lesnar's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Motown closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lesnar circles away.
