Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Northman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Morton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carl Morton!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Northman moves into the clinch successfully.
Morton trying to land knees to the body.
Northman takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like Eric Northman has been cut.
Morton is looking to break free of the clinch but Northman has double underhooks.
Northman has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Morton avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Northman can't find room to land a body shot as Morton controls the action.

Morton gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Northman drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Morton gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Morton fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Northman looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Morton misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Northman.
Morton will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Morton throws a nice looking combination but Northman bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Northman takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Eric Northman's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Carl Morton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Morton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Northman moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Morton lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Northman circles away quickly and effectively.

Northman bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Morton bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Northman's guard.

He's locked it up tight! Morton's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Northman picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
