Hardcore Irish comes to the cage accompanied by Devil's Dance Floor. Kernes is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Reign Supreme - Persevere And Overcome. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardcore Irish lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

It looks like Jay Kernes has been cut.
Kernes feints and then cracks Hardcore Irish's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hardcore Irish down.
Kernes throws a push kick but Hardcore Irish slaps the foot to one side.
Kernes swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hardcore Irish counters with a three punch combo that has Kernes backing up. Kernes nods at Hardcore Irish to acknowledge the strikes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kernes walks into a jab.
Hardcore Irish slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

That has opened up Jay Kernes's cut even more.
Hardcore Irish throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hardcore Irish misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kernes takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Hardcore Irish cracks Kernes with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Hardcore Irish has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kernes to stand back up!

Kernes is rocked!
Kernes throws a nice head kick!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Hardcore Irish has cracked Kernes with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Hardcore Irish lands another huge swinging hook and Kernes tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Kernes, before Hardcore Irish can land any more shots!
