Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alkofer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Clay pivots, looking for a leg kick but Alkofer is out of range and Clay settles back down.
Alkofer shoots in and bounces Clay off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Alkofer passes into half guard.
Clay might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Clay is trying to stand.
Alkofer tries to pass the half guard into mount. Clay knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Alkofer seems to be working for a kimura but Clay defends the submission attempt.
Alkofer wants to pass the guard but Clay is defending well.

Alkofer has control of Clay's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Clay regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Clay is in all sorts of trouble here.

Alkofer is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Clay still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Clay has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Clay throws a leg kick but Alkofer sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Alkofer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Alkofer shoots in and drives through. Clay sprawls well.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Alkofer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Clay as he jumps to the side.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Clay wants to control but Alkofer is having none of it.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Alkofer is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Clay has managed to escape the submission attempt.
You get the feeling that Clay really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Alkofer is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Clay is surviving well by controlling Alkofer's body position as best he can.
Clay knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Alkofer on the ground.
Clay bucks up and throws Alkofer to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That was a close second round but I would say that Cassius Clay will probably get the nod.

Alkofer shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Clay manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Clay is pushing Alkofer's head away, looking to escape. Alkofer manages to hold on to the position though.

I would just about give that final round to Maximus Alkofer.
