Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Waqas Malik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett Carwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malik comes to the cage accompanied by The Final Countdown. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malik fails to land the takedown.

Carwin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Malik sprawls well initially but Carwin persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Malik looks like he's trying to stand up.
Malik keeping control of the position.

Malik manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Malik tries to close the distance and clinch but Carwin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Malik lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Carwin looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Malik gets the takedown into side control.

Malik is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Carwin looks calm but he's in trouble here. Malik gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Carwin is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Malik lets go of the hold and Carwin can pop his arm back in it's socket.
