Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Dwyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Punski Nub (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Michael Dwyer has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Michael Dwyer seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dwyer drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Nub is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Dwyer preventing the sweep.
Nub keeping moving, preventing Dwyer from controlling successfully.
Dwyer pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nub is keeping the position for now.
Dwyer wants to control from the top but Nub keeps moving.
Dwyer has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Nub wants to sweep here but Dwyer controlling him for the moment.
Nub is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Dwyer seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Nub for as long as he can get away with.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Dwyer turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Dwyer stands up and beckons Nub to his feet.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nub is on top in guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dwyer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Dwyer has momentary wrist control but Nub slips an elbow through the middle.
Nub stands up over Dwyer, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Nub trying to control the position from guard on top but Dwyer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dwyer throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Nub wants to control from the top but Dwyer keeps moving.

Dwyer wants to stand and escape but Nub is having none of it.

Nub passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Nub is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Dwyer is trying to escape and Nub transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Dwyer is forced to tap! Nice work there by Nub! Very nice indeed!
