Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ogami Itto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Itto comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Gods Made Heavy Metal kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Itto uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jones.
Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Itto dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jones throws a lazy right hand but Itto sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Horrible takedown by Jones or perhaps it was just good defense by Itto which made him look bad.

and Itto cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Jones tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Itto swivels and escapes.

Itto throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jones.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jones.
Jones throws out a loose jab but Itto uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ogami Itto is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Itto wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Jones. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Itto will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Jones moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Itto is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jones is controlling him.

Jones drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jones jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Jones is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Itto is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Jones works to advance to full mount. Itto defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Itto is controlling an arm, preventing Jones from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Jones is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Itto has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Itto!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Jones throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Itto stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Jones throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
