PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Senen Reyes II (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Super Goeran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Super Goeran!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reyes II leaves Goeran with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Reyes II throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Goeran crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Reyes II - the referee stops the clock and Goeran gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Reyes II. Goeran manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
A head kick misses from Reyes II.
Reyes II throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Goeran.

It looks like Super Goeran has been cut.
Super Goeran seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Goeran shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Reyes II as he jumps to the side.

Reyes II thumps Goeran with a low kick.
Goeran looks gassed!
Reyes II cracks the inside of Goeran's front leg.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Reyes II, right into the meat.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Reyes II lands a big head kick that sends Goeran tumbling to the mat! Reyes II takes a step backwards and waves Goeran back to his feet - he wants the finish!

That has opened up Super Goeran's cut even more.
Reyes II lands a nice leg kick that just misses Goeran's sensitive parts.
Goeran stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Reyes II.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The cut above Super Goeran's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Goeran takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Super Goeran's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Reyes II lands with a slapping head kick.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Super Goeran's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
