PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack Madison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kato Aspenia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Madison comes into the arena with Jizz In My Pants blaring out of the sound system. Kato Aspenia is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack Madison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kato Aspenia!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aspenia throws a right and a left that both miss.

Madison shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Aspenia's guard.

Madison has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Madison has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Aspenia's face.

Madison throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Aspenia was covering up waiting for the punch and Madison finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Madison, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
