The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guerrero looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Wood steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Guerrero. That one must have hurt.
An inside leg kick lands from Guerrero.
Wood is breathing heavily.
Wood shoots in but no luck this time.
Guerrero fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Wood.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Guerrero throws a nice outside leg kick.
Wood throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Guerrero sees it coming and avoids it easily.
The fighters circle momentarily. Wood darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like Jose Guerrero has been cut.
Wood lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Guerrero is looking to close the distance but Wood sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Guerrero crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Guerrero is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
