Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Swahili Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Banner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Swahili Bob has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Bob takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Good exchange - Bob coming out on top.

Banner shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Banner was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Bob prevents any damage by holding on tight.

Banner jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Bob is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Bob and Banner has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Banner wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bob keeps working.

Banner is trying to get an arm triangle but Bob is defending well.

Banner tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Banner has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Banner goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Bob has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Banner but great work by Bob.
Bob is looking to take a break and control but Banner is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Banner tries to buck Bob off but Bob is having none of it.
Banner gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Banner wants to control but Bob is having none of it.
Banner's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

That was a close round but I would say that Swahili Bob will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Bob throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Bob scores with a sloppy right hand. Banner should have avoided that one.
Banner is looking to clinch.
Bob throws a right and a left that Banner avoids nicely.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Banner.
Bob stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bob wants it to stay on the feet.
Banner tries for a takedown but Bob sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Swahili Bob has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruce Banner.
Banner takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Banner gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Banner closes the distance and clinches up with Bob, looking for a takedown. Banner pushes Bob against the cage but Bob circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nice shot lands for Bob.
Banner is breathing heavily.
Bob comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Bob misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bob stalks Banner and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Banner's face. Banner staggers backwards, shaken.

Bob pushes Banner away with a front kick.
A slapping body kick lands there for Bob.
Bob lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Bob cracks Banner with an open hand slap.
Swahili Bob is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
A nice combination there by Bob.

Banner is rocked!
Banner seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Bob shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Banner is backing up but Bob catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Banner covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Bob Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
