Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luka Cervic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and kalja maha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Luka Cervic has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Luka Cervic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, kalja maha!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cervic throws a head kick that maha semi-blocks.


It looks like kalja maha has been cut.

Cervic stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cervic wants it to stay on the feet.
Cervic ducks down and throws a hook to the body but maha moves away.

maha drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and maha jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Cervic knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for maha on the ground.

maha wants to take a breather but Cervic is having none of it.
Cervic is trying to stand up here but maha is controlling him well.

maha is looking for a kimura but Cervic is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for maha to get the leverage.
maha thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Some bone on bone action there as maha checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Cervic throws a lazy right hand but maha sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
maha shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Cervic defends it nicely.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Cervic tries to clinch but maha is having none of it.

maha tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cervic sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten maha somewhat.
maha takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Cervic looks to throw the jab but maha is out of range.
Cervic wants to clinch.
maha avoids a kick to the body.

Cervic fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with maha, pushing him back against the cage.
maha has Cervic pressed against the cage, preventing Cervic from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
maha keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Cervic's efforts to push away.

maha fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cervic lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

maha bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Cervic is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

maha wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Cervic, who protects the arm well.

Cervic is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

maha shoots in looking for a takedown. Cervic tries to sprawl out of it but maha keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cervic manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
maha closes the distance and clinches up with Cervic, looking for a takedown. maha pushes Cervic against the cage but Cervic circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

maha goes for an armbar but Cervic turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Cervic.

Cervic decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Cervic throws a jab but it's blocked by maha.

and maha counters with a shoot takedown. Cervic fights it but they end up in guard.

maha drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Cervic manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now maha has Cervic in his guard.

I would just about give that final round to kalja maha.
