The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taldo goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Karatinov just misses with a punch to the body.

Karatinov is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Taldo pulls him back up using the underhooks. Karatinov is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Taldo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Taldo wants it to stay on the feet. Karatinov has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. No joy there for Taldo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Taldo is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Karatinov has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Taldo defend it?
