The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Hooligan connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Alejandro Mac throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as O Hooligan stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Alejandro Mac follows into mount!
O Hooligan is rocked!
It looks like Shamus O Hooligan has been cut.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
O Hooligan tries to lock up and control but Alejandro Mac gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
O Hooligan is still in real trouble! Can Alejandro Mac finish him?
O Hooligan is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Alejandro Mac is staying active.
Alejandro Mac is standing up, even though he is in mount.
O Hooligan seems to have recovered his senses.
A head kick by Alejandro Mac - that's a beauty! O Hooligan is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Alejandro Mac can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
