The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romano swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dayley will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dayley cracks Romano with a good jab.
Romano throws a nice looking combination but Dayley bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Romano throws a left and a right that both miss
and Dayley counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Dayley has managed to clinch.
Romano has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Dayley avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Dayley has Romano pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Romano manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Dayley turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Dayley manages to end up in side control.
