Comte slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Jack Ripper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Comte digs a good hook to Ripper's body.
Ripper throws a solid leg kick but Comte takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Ripper.
Ripper scores with a kick to the midsection.
Ripper misses with a few strikes there.
Comte misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Comte throws a nice looking combination but Ripper bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Comte throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Comte checks a leg kick.

Ripper looks for the body kick but Comte saw that one coming.

Ripper throws a lazy right hand but Comte sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ripper is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ripper throws a left and a right that both miss
and Comte counters with a three punch combo that has Ripper backing up. Ripper nods at Comte to acknowledge the strikes.
Comte ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ripper moves away.

Ripper throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Comte.
Comte looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ripper throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Ripper checks a leg kick.
Ripper scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Ripper misses with a wild body shot.
Comte throws a right and a left that Ripper avoids nicely.
Ripper throws a head kick but Comte moves out of range.
Comte lands the left hand.
Ripper tries a head kick but it misses.
Ripper throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Comte counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Ripper wants to land a leg kick but Comte is out of range.
Comte lands with an uppercut that bounces Ripper off the cage and back into rage.

Ripper throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Comte cracks Ripper with a right hand to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
