Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paul Rowles!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hickok misses with a few strikes there.
Hickok lands with a hook. Rowles tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Hickok scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rowles doesn't seem bothered though.
Good standup being displayed there by Hickok as he connects with a hook.
It looks like Paul Rowles has been cut.

Hickok looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hickok lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Hickok displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rowles throws out the jab.

Hickok tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rowles paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Rowles closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Rowles jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hickok moves in looking to clinch but Rowles pushes him off.

Rowles looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hickok comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Rowles showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hickok.
Hickok throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Hickok lands a nice shot that snaps Rowles's head back.
Both fighters circling a little - Hickok finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Rowles swats away the attempt to clinch by Hickok.
Hickok feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Rowles's calf.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hickok tries to clinch there but Rowles circles away.
Rowles takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Hickok scores with a nice strike.
That has opened up Paul Rowles's cut even more.
Hickok throws out a powerful jab.
Hickok lands a left and a right that send Rowles crashing to the mat, dazed. Hickok thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Rowles is rocked!
Hickok throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rowles keeps the fight on the outside.
Rowles swats away the attempt to clinch by Hickok.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Paul Rowles's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Hickok misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rowles ducks right into an uppercut from Hickok.

and Rowles counters with a straight right hand.
Hickok throws out a powerful jab.
The cut above Paul Rowles's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Hickok is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Rowles can do to turn this around?
Rowles is breathing heavily.
Hickok scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Rowles defending well as Hickok loads up on a big left hand.
Rowles looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Rowles shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hickok defends it nicely.
A bone on bone clash there as Hickok blocks the leg kick.

Hickok lands a glancing blow to the side of Rowles's head.

Paul Rowles's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Rowles lands with a hook. Hickok tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Rowles might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Hickok has got the better of the exchanges.
Hickok misses with a looping left.
Bill Hickok is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rowles motions for Hickok to come forward. Rowles throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Hickok connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Rowles's hands.
Rowles swats away the attempt to clinch by Hickok.

Hickok lands a nice shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
