Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Emerson Jorge and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
del Panther changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Matson tries to avoid it but del Panther manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Matson to the ground. Matson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
del Panther shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
del Panther is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Matson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
del Panther goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Matson is on top in guard.
del Panther throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Matson escapes and throws del Panther's legs to the side, diving into side control!
You can see the frustration on del Panther's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Matson wants to lay and pray for a moment but del Panther keeps working.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Matson wants to slow del Panther down by chopping away at his legs.

del Panther shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Matson as he jumps to the side.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from del Panther is defended easily by Matson.
Padre del Panther seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
del Panther closes the distance and clinches up with Matson, looking for a takedown. del Panther pushes Matson against the cage but Matson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Matson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
del Panther is breathing heavily.
Matson cracks del Panther with an open hand slap.
Matson tries to clinch there but del Panther circles away.
del Panther fails with a takedown attempt.
Matson takes the fight into the clinch.
Matson tries to break the clinch but del Panther is controlling the position.
Matson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Josh Matson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Horrible takedown by del Panther or perhaps it was just good defense by Matson which made him look bad.
del Panther shoots in for a takedown but Matson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
A clash of legs there as del Panther blocks the low kick.
Matson connects with a right hand. del Panther shakes it off.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
del Panther gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Matson.

del Panther ducks right into an uppercut from Matson.

Matson instigates a clinch.
Matson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
del Panther looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Matson is fending him off so far but del Panther persists. Nope, Matson circles away and we're back to standing.
Matson misses with a wild combination.
Matson clinches with his opponent.
del Panther drops down looking for an ankle pick but Matson pulls his leg out and moves away.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
del Panther will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
del Panther gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Matson throws a combination. del Panther tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Matson jabs del Panther right on the nose. del Panther blinks but takes it well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
del Panther closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
del Panther is looking for submissions but instead, Matson has regained full guard.
del Panther looking to sit in guard and control but Matson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Matson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of del Panther's head.
Padre del Panther is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Matson lands a body shot.
Matson slips a jab and a cross from del Panther.
Matson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent del Panther stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Matson stuffs the takedown.
Matson connects with the punch.
Matson looks to land a combination but del Panther avoids it well.
Matson tries to clinch up.
del Panther with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Matson to score with a decent uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

del Panther goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Matson rolls with the submission and now he's on top in del Panther's guard! Nice work there by Matson!
Matson wants to pass the guard but del Panther is keeping the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

del Panther working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Matson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Matson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
del Panther is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Josh Matson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
