Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tony Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Severus Ignotus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ignotus has chosen The Slam as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Tony Jordan could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Severus Ignotus's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ignotus misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ignotus closes the distance and clinches up with Jordan, looking for a takedown. Ignotus pushes Jordan against the cage but Jordan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Ignotus wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jordan, who protects the arm well.

Jordan is trying to control Ignotus's posture but Ignotus avoids it.

Jordan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Ignotus counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jordan's guard now.
Jordan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ignotus on the ground.
Ignotus slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Despite being in the dominant position, Severus Ignotus just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jordan has his takedown stuffed

Ignotus seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
