Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dodge Elusive (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leif Kuusela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuusela is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hoii mie oon manne!. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elusive dodges the punch combination from Kuusela.
A combination from Kuusela does no damage.

Elusive manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kuusela manages to get himself to full guard.

Elusive has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kuusela really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Elusive. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Elusive seems to be looking for submissions.

Elusive decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

so Elusive counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Elusive feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Leif Kuusela seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Elusive passes the guard and advances to mount!

Kuusela is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Elusive wants to finish this one by submission but Kuusela is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Elusive.
Kuusela is wriggling around trying to escape.
Kuusela's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Kuusela tries to lock up and control but Elusive gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kuusela is looking to get to half guard.

Elusive stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
