PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wanderlei Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Undertaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wanderlei Williams had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Bobby Undertaker has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams throws a leg kick that misses.
Williams looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Williams lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Undertaker drives through with a takedown into guard.
Undertaker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Williams swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Williams might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Undertaker is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Undertaker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Williams. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Undertaker throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Williams is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Undertaker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Undertaker drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Undertaker jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Williams is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Williams has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Undertaker. Oh but Williams has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Undertaker goes limp - he's gone! Williams jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
