Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paul Ooka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timu Puruunen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ooka scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Ooka stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Puruunen tries to close the distance and clinch but Ooka swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Timu Puruunen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Ooka is fighting to break Puruunen's control of his arms but Puruunen is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
