The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingston bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Bollea's head.
It looks like Terry Bollea has been cut.
Kingston scores with the left hand. Bollea knows he should have avoided that one.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kingston tries to clinch up but Bollea circles away and keeps his distance.

Kingston throws a right and a left that Bollea avoids nicely.
Kingston moves into the clinch.
Kingston's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Kingston tries to clinch up but Bollea circles away and keeps his distance.

and Kingston counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bollea's guard now.

Kingston throws and elbow that misses. Bollea uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kingston's guard. Nice move by Bollea!

Kingston is not content to let Bollea control the position.
Bollea is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kingston is just riding it out for now. Bollea eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Kingston keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Kingston wants to improve his position but Bollea is controlling well.
Bollea is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kingston doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bollea.
Kingston looks like he's trying to stand up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Bollea counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kingston's guard now.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

and Bollea counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Bollea is looking to work some ground and pound but Kingston has wrist control.
Kingston wants to sweep but no luck.
Bollea won't allow Kingston to get back to his feet.

Bollea drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kingston dives on top into guard.

Bollea had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kingston defends it easily.
Bollea is looking to sinch up a triangle. Kingston throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Bollea's body to avoid the submission. Bollea has instead reached around Kingston's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Bollea arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
