The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noriega pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Marco Noriega seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Noriega circles away from the clinch attempt.
Noriega misses with the combination.
Noriega lands a two punch combo.
Silva wants to clinch up but Noriega keeps it at a distance.
Noriega looks to score with a jab to the body but Silva is just out of range.
Noriega throws an overhand right that lands on Silva's shoulder, as Silva tries to avoid the shot.
No joy there for Noriega, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Silva slips a jab and a cross from Noriega.

Noriega shoots in and drives through. Silva sprawls well.
Noriega throws a hook to the side of Silva's head but Silva sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Noriega tries to bum rush Silva with a series of wild strikes but Silva uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Silva moves out of range as Noriega strikes.
Noriega misses with a double jab.
Silva tries to clinch up but Noriega circles away and keeps his distance.

A left and a right from Noriega both land. Nice combination.
Silva wants to clinch.
Noriega stuns Silva with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Silva is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Noriega.
Noriega lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Silva is looking to close the distance but Noriega sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Silva crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Silva is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
