Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Griffiths (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergio Puyol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Puyol's choice of entrance music: Enter Sandman- Metallica. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Sergio Puyol enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puyol takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Griffiths fails in his attempt to clinch.
Griffiths lands a lovely overhand right.

Griffiths gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Puyol to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Puyol drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Puyol jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Griffiths will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Puyol crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Griffiths - the referee stops the clock and Puyol gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Griffiths. Puyol manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
