Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between JL Salac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luc Stenhammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, JL Salac!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Luc Stenhammer!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salac throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stenhammer's waist but Stenhammer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Salac off to one side.
Nice sprawl there from Stenhammer as Salac shoots in.

and Salac counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Salac throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
JL Salac seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Stenhammer counters with a single leg into guard. Salac didn't expect that.

Salac has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stenhammer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Salac escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stenhammer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Salac is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Stenhammer defends well.

That was a close round but I would say that JL Salac will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Despite being in the dominant position, Luc Stenhammer just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Luc Stenhammer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Salac drops back, looking for a kneebar! Stenhammer looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Stenhammer looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Stenhammer!

Salac is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Stenhammer has just dragged him back down to the mat.

And that's the end of the fight!
JL Salac showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Salac has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
