Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rage Decimacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Earl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rage Decimacion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bobby Earl!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Chad Campbell and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decimacion fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Earl avoids it really well and circles away.
Earl connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

and Decimacion counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Decimacion.
Decimacion trying to control the position from guard on top but Earl is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Earl is trying to control the position but Decimacion postures up.

Earl not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Decimacion trying to control but Earl is working from the bottom.

Earl is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Decimacion is aware though and is defending well.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Earl feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Earl avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Earl is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Decimacion looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Decimacion is breathing heavily.

Decimacion looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Earl passes into side control.

Earl working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Earl works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Decimacion tries to buck Earl off but Earl is having none of it.
Decimacion is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Earl off and has taken his back!

Earl wants to escape the position but for the time being he's just trying to control the pace.
Earl is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Decimacion is persistently looking for the submission but Earl is defending it well.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Earl is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Decimacion gets his way!

Earl is pushing down on Decimacion's leg trying to pass to half guard. Decimacion is fighting to maintain full guard but Earl has managed to sneak the leg through.

That was a close round but I would say that Rage Decimacion will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!



Decimacion tries to keep at a distance but Earl has taken the fight into the clinch.
Earl drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Decimacion gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Decimacion with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Earl breaks from the clinch.

Earl closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Decimacion tries to break free but Earl pushes him back against the cage.

Earl is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Decimacion's half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Earl thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Decimacion's head.

Earl is working for a kimura but Decimacion is defending it quite comfortably.

Decimacion is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Earl doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Decimacion.

Decimacion is working for a submission of some sort.
Decimacion misses with a head shot. Earl uses the momentum to regain guard.
Earl is looking to stand up but Decimacion isn't so interested in that idea.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rage Decimacion will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Decimacion is looking to clinch but Earl is avoiding it.

Earl in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Earl drops back looking for a leg! Decimacion is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Decimacion manages to kick Earl off! Earl jumps back into Decimacion's guard.

Decimacion is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Earl is aware though and is defending well.

Decimacion looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Earl has picked Decimacion up and slammed him! Decimacion can't keep hold of the triangle and Earl manages to pass to side control!
Earl is looking to take a break and control but Decimacion is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Earl wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Decimacion, who protects the arm well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Decimacion is looking to regain half guard here but Earl keeps moving and retains side control.

Decimacion is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Earl has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Earl content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Rage Decimacion is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Earl lands with a kick to the temple. Decimacion shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Decimacion is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Earl is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Earl has escaped and now he's on top!
Bobby Earl has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Decimacion looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Decimacion is looking to stand up but Earl isn't so interested in that idea.

Decimacion looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Earl trying to stand up but can't free himself from Decimacion's guard.
Earl working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Decimacion's head.

Decimacion working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Earl doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Earl manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
