The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, David Schapiro and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Armageddon misses.
Lacey tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Some wild striking there from Lacey.
Lacey closes the distance and clinches.
Lacey escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lacey blocks a head kick by Armageddon.
Lacey fails with a takedown attempt.
Armageddon will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lacey tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Armageddon paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Lacey is trying hard to land a takedown here. Armageddon sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Alistair Armageddon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Lacey.
Lacey shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Armageddon as he jumps to the side.

Armageddon lands with an uppercut that bounces Lacey off the cage and back into rage.
Armageddon throws a good cross that connects.

Mike Lacey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Armageddon's corner calls for a 1-2. Armageddon obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Armageddon lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Lacey can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Armageddon and Lacey drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Armageddon.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alistair Armageddon!
