Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mik Vik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phillip Barron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vik comes to the cage accompanied by Who let the dogs out. Barron has chosen Dizzee Rascal - Bonkers as his entrance music. Phillip Barron is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vik throws a lazy right hand but Barron sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Vik slow jab from Barron misses its intended target.
Vik drops Barron with a big left hand and mounts him. Barron is in big trouble!
Barron is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vik unloads with some shots from mount but Barron bucks and avoids them well.
Barron is still in real trouble! Can Vik finish him?

Vik has hold of Barron's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Barron manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Vik wants to control the pace but Barron is squirming around nicely.

Barron wants to hold on but Vik pushes him away.
Vik lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Barron is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Barron is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Vik is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Barron can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Barron is in a horrible position here. Vik smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

BOOM! Vik connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Barron seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Barron pushes Vik off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

and Barron counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Barron connects with a jab.
Barron lunges at Vik with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Vik's hand.
Vik throws a combination that misses
letting Barron counter with a right hand.
Barron lands with a straight right. Vik didn't see that one coming.
Vik closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Barron out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mik Vik!
