Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Winston Howard and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stuart throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Stuart lands a nice looking kick to the body. Silva takes a step back to recover.
A punch combination from Stuart misses.
Silva loads up on a big right hand but Stuart slips the punch.
Stuart throws a head kick that misses.
Stuart misses with a two punch combination.
Silva is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stuart.
Stuart with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Silva to score with a decent uppercut.
A jab lands there for Stuart.
Stuart tries to bum rush Silva with a series of wild strikes but Silva uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Dane Stuart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Stuart tries to clinch there but Silva circles away.
Stuart throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Stuart tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Silva paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Silva throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

and Stuart counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Stuart lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Stuart.
Stuart throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Stuart lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Silva ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stuart moves away.
Silva avoids a punch combination nicely.
Silva blocks a head kick by Stuart.
The fighters circle momentarily. Silva darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

The crowd cheers as Silva lands an impressive looking overhand right. Stuart doesn't seem phased though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close round but I would say that Shogun Silva will probably get the nod.

Silva throws a lazy right hand but Stuart sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Silva takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

and Silva cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Stuart rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silva moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Silva works Stuart's body with a nice hook.
Stuart takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Stuart is rocked!

It looks like Dane Stuart has been cut.
Silva misses with an uppercut. Stuart saw that one coming.
Stuart gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Stuart might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Silva has got the better of the exchanges.
Silva connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Stuart! He's out on his feet! Silva rushes in and drops Stuart with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
