Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diesel Maddox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevor Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maddox fails with an attempt to clinch.
Maddox looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Maddox doesn't manage to clinch there - Price circles away.

Price instigates a clinch.
Maddox drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Maddox misses with a body punch.
Price misses with a punch on the inside.
Maddox drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Price gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Maddox is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Price defends well.

Maddox escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Price gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Price must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Maddox manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Price manages to get himself to full guard.

Price throws a jab but it's blocked by Maddox.

Price throws a lazy right hand but Maddox sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Price drops Maddox with a beautiful combination! Maddox stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Price is looking for the KO!

Maddox shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Price's guard.

Maddox has gone for a leg lock! Price slips out almost immediately though and dives into Maddox's guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Diesel Maddox is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Price finds Maddox's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Maddox flops back against the ropes, eyes gazing into the distance. Price lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Maddox will be OK.
