Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Hanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black comes to the ring accompanied by Elton John - Rocket Man. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hanson is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Black has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Black!

Hanson seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Black can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hanson is looking to escape.

Hanson lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Black is looking to close the distance but Hanson sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Black crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Black is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
