PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zell Dincht (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beep Boop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dincht comes into the arena with Fanfare blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boop misses with an uppercut.
Dincht throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Dincht gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Dincht trying to stall but Boop improves his position.

Boop breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dincht uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Boop shoots in and bounces Dincht off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Boop must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Boop loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Dincht throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Dincht is adopting a defensive guard.

Boop had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dincht defends it easily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Dincht's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Boop trying to hold on to Dincht's head to control him but Dincht postures up.
Boop is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Dincht is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Boop wants to control but Dincht is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Dincht not doing much here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Dincht throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Dincht slaps away a takedown attempt from Boop, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Dincht throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Boop colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Dincht as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Boop is left battered and dazed whilst Dincht and his camp cheer!
