The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
iglesia moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Yuri Yamamoto has been cut.
iglesia throws a sloppy head kick and Yamamoto moves out of range easily.
Yamamoto shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. iglesia defends it nicely.
Yamamoto takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
iglesia tries a head kick but it misses.
Yamamoto misses with a takedown attempt - iglesia sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
iglesia lets loose with a powerful body kick. Yamamoto will feel that in the morning.
iglesia connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
iglesia uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Yamamoto has time to react.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Yamamoto shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with iglesia but iglesia pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Yamamoto throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around iglesia's waist but iglesia gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Yamamoto off to one side.

and iglesia counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

iglesia moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Yamamoto takes a shot to the body in his stride.
iglesia tried to score with a low kick but Yamamoto checks it.
iglesia goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Jeez, Yuri Yamamoto's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
