PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Painmaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Homer Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Painmaker kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is X gonna give it to ya.. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jacob Painmaker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Homer Simpson!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Painmaker.

Painmaker has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Simpson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Painmaker.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

A close round but Homer Simpson will probably get the nod.

Simpson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Painmaker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Simpson keeps working.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well Simpson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
