Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Alarcon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Slewton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carlos Slewton!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slewton moves out of range as Alarcon throws a body kick.

Slewton goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Alarcon is on top in guard.

Slewton has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Alarcon is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Slewton.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Slewton is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Alarcon doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Slewton.

That was a close second round but I would say that Oscar Alarcon will probably get the nod.

Slewton closes the distance and clinches up with Alarcon, looking for a takedown. Slewton pushes Alarcon against the cage but Alarcon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Slewton shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
