The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boyett takes the fight into the clinch.

Jones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jones lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Boyett backs up against the cage.

It looks like Trent Boyett has been cut.
Boyett misses with an uppercut. Jones saw that one coming.
Jones swats away the attempt to clinch by Boyett.
Jones misses with a series of wild punches.
Boyett throws an overhand right that lands on Jones's shoulder, as Jones tries to avoid the shot.
Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Boyett cracks Jones with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Some wild striking there from Jones.
A slow jab from Jones misses its intended target.
Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Boyett circles away quickly and effectively.
Jones looks to land a combination but Boyett avoids it well.
Boyett is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Jones.
Boyett feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jones's calf.
Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Boyett.
Jones throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jones keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Boyett.
No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Boyett throws a series of strikes that have Jones backpedaling.

Jones is rocked!
Jones looks gassed!

Boyett drops Jones with a huge uppercut! Jones drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Boyett is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
