Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Saint George (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pusku Traktori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Traktori has chosen LL Cool J - Mama Said Knock You Out as his entrance music. The key to victory for Saint George has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Saint George!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Pusku Traktori!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Traktori fails with the takedown.
Horrible takedown by Traktori or perhaps it was just good defense by George which made him look bad.
George swings for the body but Traktori moves out of range.
Pusku Traktori seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Traktori shoots in but no luck this time.
Saint George has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pusku Traktori.
George slaps away a takedown attempt from Traktori, before circling back to the center of the mat.
George sizes up Traktori with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Traktori tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but George swivels and escapes.
No luck for Traktori with that takedown attempt.
Traktori shoots for a takedown but George saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
George tries to clinch but Traktori moves out of range.

George tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Traktori wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Traktori wants to control but George is keeping him busy.
George is looking for a sweep. Traktori is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Traktori is trying to control the action in half guard but George is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
George has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Traktori is working away from the top position though.
George keeps control of the position for the meantime.

George wants to improve his position but Traktori is controlling well.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Traktori shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. George is trying to defend but Traktori finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
George cracks Traktori with an open hand slap.

George closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Traktori did well to prevent George getting side control.

Traktori is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of George's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take George's back!
George looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

George rolls, trying to escape but Traktori keeps control of the position.

You can see the frustration on George's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
George wants to control his opponent's hands but Traktori gets his hands free.
Traktori just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Traktori wants to control the position but George frees himself and scrambles - Traktori manages to regain control in side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



George shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Traktori is trying to defend but George finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
George wants to free his trapped foot but Traktori is holding on for dear life with his legs.

George is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
George is taking a breather. Traktori says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

George is looking to take a break and control but Traktori is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

George is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Traktori feints and as George raises his hands in defense, Traktori changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
George controls Traktori momentarily but Traktori frees himself.

Traktori stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. George swivels though and keeps the full guard.

George seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
George tries to strike from the bottom.
George keeping moving, preventing Traktori from controlling successfully.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
George closes the distance and clinches up with Traktori, looking for a takedown. George pushes Traktori against the cage but Traktori circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Traktori lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for George!

Traktori stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

George seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Traktori for as long as he can get away with.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

George is trying to work for a kimura but Traktori is defending well.

George takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Traktori closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
You can see the frustration on George's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Saint George.
Well George has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
