Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Manunu Igi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Myers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Igi tries to close the distance and clinch up but Myers swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Igi uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Myers.
Igi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Myers avoids it really well and circles away.
Igi keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Myers forces Igi back against the cage and clinches.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Myers creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Igi throws a nice looking combination but Myers bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jason Myers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Igi closes the distance and clinches up with Myers, looking for a takedown. Igi pushes Myers against the cage but Myers circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Myers shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Jason Myers comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Myers has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
