Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tex Anderton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts lands a jab to Anderton's midsection.

Roberts tries to score a power double leg takedown but Anderton sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Roberts somewhat.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Roberts postures up in Anderton's guard and throws a big left but Anderton blocks it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Anderton cracks Roberts with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Roberts tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Anderton pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Roberts is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
