Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roberto Drysdale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drysdale's entrance music is Ignorant Shit . A fine choice. Dixon has chosen It's A Fight by Three 6 Mafia as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roberto Drysdale!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mason Dixon!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Matheus Silva and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Dixon. No joy for Drysdale on that attempt.
Roberto Drysdale seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Drysdale shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dixon sprawls well. Dixon wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Drysdale gets slowly back to his feet.

Drysdale is trying to drag Dixon to the mat but Dixon just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Drysdale tries to throw a body punch but Dixon avoids it by throwing Drysdale back against the cage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Dixon shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Dixon was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Dixon has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Drysdale is forced to tap!
