Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dynamo MacKenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bajrang Jakhotia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MacKenzie's entrance music is Shwayze - High Together. A fine choice. Bajrang Jakhotia will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacKenzie shoots in and drives through. Jakhotia sprawls well.
Nice defenses there by MacKenzie.

MacKenzie scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

MacKenzie has managed to clinch.
Jakhotia wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

MacKenzie drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jakhotia manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now MacKenzie has Jakhotia in his guard.

MacKenzie changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jakhotia looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
MacKenzie drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jakhotia pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dynamo MacKenzie. That's going to take a lot out of him.

MacKenzie moves into range and clinches up with Jakhotia.

MacKenzie feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jakhotia is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but MacKenzie pulls his head out easily.
MacKenzie looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jakhotia with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
