Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bob Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Soenn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Soenn as Nelson shoots in.
Nelson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Soenn.
Nelson doesn't manage to clinch there - Soenn circles away.
Nelson shoots in for a takedown but Soenn shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Soenn has Nelson up against the cage in a clinch.

Nelson lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Nelson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Soenn pulls Nelson into guard.
Soenn is looking to stand up but Nelson isn't so interested in that idea.

Nelson's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Soenn is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Nelson is aware though and is defending well.

Nelson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Nelson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Soenn but Soenn pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Nelson shoots for a takedown but Soenn saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Soenn has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Nelson doesn't defend quickly enough and Soenn has managed to lock this one up! Can Nelson escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Soenn on a fantastic submission victory.
