The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown tries to bum rush Dwan with a series of wild strikes but Dwan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Brown gets caught flat footed, as Dwan shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Joshua Brown will probably get the nod.

Dwan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brown's waist but Brown gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dwan off to one side.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dwan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Dwan has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Brown is proving hard to escape from.
Brown is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dwan is controlling him.

Dwan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Brown's guard.
