The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Meridius.
Barkley swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Barkley misses with a series of wild punches.
Good leg kick by Meridius there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Barkley shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Meridius sprawls well. Meridius wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Barkley gets slowly back to his feet.
Meridius throws a leg kick which misses Barkley's front leg but catches the back leg as Barkley tries to avoid it.
Barkley is breathing heavily.

Meridius lands with a thumping leg kick.

Meridius bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Meridius moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Barkley chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Meridius can pounce on him.

Meridius lands a big head kick that sends Barkley tumbling to the mat! Meridius takes a step backwards and waves Barkley back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Benjamin Barkley has been cut.
