Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ian Beale!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Alexandre Firmino and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bija is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Bija closes the distance and clinches up with Beale, looking for a takedown. Bija pushes Beale against the cage but Beale circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bija wants to clinch up but Beale keeps it at a distance.

Beale has control of Bija's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bija regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Beale postures up in Bija's guard and throws a big left but Bija blocks it.

Beale thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

A cross from Bija lands.
Bija misses with a double jab.
Bija fails to land with a series of punches.
Beale is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bija.
Beale stuffs the takedown.
Bija throws the left hand but Beale avoids the punch easily.
Beale scores to the head and body with a nice combination!


It looks like Jordan Bija has been cut.

Beale shoots in and bounces Bija off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bija is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Beale is aware though and is defending well.

Bija is looking for a triangle but Beale pushes his legs off easily.

Beale drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Beale jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bija has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Beale should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Bija has tightened it up now! Beale should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
